Volunteer Services

Center for Community Justice values the contributions of community members who give their time and talents to support our mission. Their efforts are indispensable; specific programs and the agency as a whole could not function without them. They provide an essential link between the vision of Center for Community Justice and the community we serve.

To apply to become a volunteer, one must submit an application, undergo a record check, and attend an interview with staff. Based on interests, skills, and schedules, an individual is then matched with one of our programs.

Volunteer Commitment
Program Volunteers are asked to commit to service for a period of one year. Continued interest in volunteering will be reviewed annually. Service on the Board of Directors carries a term of three years.

Volunteer Requirements
To be considered for a volunteer position, one must be willing to follow the mission of the Center for Community Justice and be open to our philosophy of Restorative Justice. One must also adhere to all agency policies.

Click on your Program(s) of interest to learn more about each program and complete the application form (see link on right).  For further questions, contact Laura at Center for Community Justice at (574) 295-6149 or 1(800) 318-6159, ext. 200.
