Celebrating 45 Years of Healing and Transformation

In 1978, a groundbreaking initiative known as the Victim Offender Reconciliation Program (VORP) was born right here in Elkhart County, IN. It marked a pivotal moment in the United States' criminal justice system—a moment that embraced compassion, healing, and reconciliation.

Join us in commemorating this remarkable 45th anniversary as we honor the enduring success of restorative justice principles. The VORP program has paved the way for victims, offenders, and communities to engage in open, constructive dialogue, offering healing and support to participants and encouraging transformative changes for those who have caused harm.

Embrace Compassion, Healing, and Justice

By attending the Restorative Justice Award Dinner, you are not only celebrating the past 45 years but also shaping a brighter, more empathetic future for our communities. Join us in this transformative journey towards a fairer and more inclusive society.
