RJ SUMMIT : Second Chances

Second chances are a tangible way of welcoming reentrants back into the community

About The Event

Reentrants need to feel welcome.  The stigma of incarceration, whether emotional or legal, follows them for the remainder of their lives.  Second chances are a tangible way of welcoming reentrants back into the community. Their lives have been full of struggles or issues that sent them to prison or jail. Alleviating their basic struggles upon their release goes a long way toward helping them acclimate and become contributing members of society.
